Vitex side effect

So this is my first cycle trying Vitex. i take one in the am and one pm. Im on CD7. Since the second day- i have been having terrible headaches. I am wondering if anyone else taking it has gotten headaches? Or any other side effects.

Thinking i may stop and see if they go away or just hang in till ovulation.

Does the package insert say anything? What does your dr say?

didnt mention it to the dr. My ob/gyn just moved to upstate ny so i have been seeing her partner since the M/C. They are definitely on opposite pages as far as infertility. My last dr prescribed me Clomid- but wasnt going to monitor me on it since i ovulate on my own. I filled it but didnt take it...twice. its sitting in my cabinet. This Dr. tells me not to take it because i ovulate and to "just hang in there- i will be pregnant soon"...yeah right.

My cycle has just been so weird and i read on here about quite a few people taking it- so i thought i would give it a try.

Label does say that it may give slight headache- but this is bad...and annoying with a screaming two year old running around!

I have taken it for 3 cycles and although I've had a few headaches, I know it's not from the vitex.

haha. thanks for the try. i thought about that too...but im already at dp7 and i thought if i could make it to ovulation, thats good. since you have to stop then anyway. i'd hate to waste a few days, ya know.
