    Definitely join the HRP (Hudson River Park) Mamas group.  There's over 1500 of us who live in BPC, Tribeca, Soho, and the FiDi.  There's an expecting mother's subgroup which you can join to meet other moms-to-be.  It's a wonderful resource, and I've met all my best mother friends from this group.  GL!
