Need Carnival Birthday ideas???
I am having a dual bday party for the boys in late March. (I know its crazy to be thinking about now) I wanted to do a carnival theme this year. Cooper is gonna be 5 and of course Collin will be 1. So I wanted to do about 5 stations for games and have kids play for tickets then have a ticket redemption booth for prizes. Any Ideas on the game booths? I would like to make this as cost effective as I can...and I am pretty crafty. So far the only ideas I have is a bean bag toss and a ping pong toss in a bunch of goldfish bowls..like at the fair.
Any other ideas are much appreciated. Also...what about decorations??

There's the water gun race
Hitting milk bottles/bowling pins with balls
Face painting
balloon animals?

Even a fishing game (I remember those from my childhood) could be added.
Decorations: I know my local Target had popcorn containers in their $1 spot--you could use a few of those and fill 'em up with popcorn. I usually raid all the clearance & $1 sections at Target and Michaels for ideas (also check out Party City--I picked up some stuff last week for 70% off!).
How about a clown dress up area - complete with clown noses and face painting and a photo booth?

what about something with a balance beam? You could make one out of a 2x4 and give a prize for the one who can balance the best?
I threw one for my son that was carnival/circus theme. Some ideas I did were the popcorn holders, for favors animal cookies, and animal shaped sandwiches for the kids. We did not have games since he was only turning 1, we did have balloon and face painting person.
