3rd Trimester

Anyone Else Feel Sick/Not Able to Eat Much?

I just entered my 3rd trimester on Friday and it seems like overnight I feel sick and can't eat much.  I've had heartburn, a stomach ache a lot, and bathroom challenges.  I have to force myself to eat.  I can't eat much at one time - having to graze more.  I am having twins and suspect that I am just running out of room and it is making everything weird.  Anyone else have this challenge in the 3rd?

  • Yes, me. And I am an eater by nature. Sucks. Even have the first tri 'metallic taste in moth' thing going on. :(

  • ME! I feel sick and need to eat to get energy/raise my sugars so I don't feel weak/dizzy/passing out, but then I eat and feel sick, heartburn, indigestion (vurping)...all that jazz!  I can't win either way! I eat a very light breakfast...either cereal or a bagel and I still feel sick and it also makes me gasp for air (I guess because my stomach gets full it pushes on my lungs and I literally am starving for oxygen...I can't breathe!).  I decided for lunch I am eating fruit...just ate 2 bananas and feel stuffed...may cut up a small fruit salad in a little bit when I feel like I need to eat with some strawberries, kiwis and peaches.  I am just over it already!  I do hear many women lose their appetite in the 3rd and some even lose weight due to this.

  • I guess I can say I somewhat feel the same way. My first five months of pregnancy I didn't eat much... gained only 5lbs. second trimester I eat a lot..11lbs, and now in my third trimester when I look at food, smell food etc I feel sick to my stomach. I force myself to eat every day... it gets hard. But my advice is... if ur unable to eat chew on some gummie vitamins. that's what I do and drink tons of water.
