I bought Evie the Kandoo soap since she potty trained. I thought since it was purple, she could see it lathering better. She has been better about hand washing since I bought it.
I found out the hard way that it stains. We have a marble sink in the 1/2 bath and that has weird spots on it. And Evie's white wood step stool has purple spots on it.
I called them and they took my info and said a CS rep would call me back. Not sure what they can do. I don't want more of their soap, so no coupons or g/c will help. Also its made by pampers, so I guess I am just done with all things Pampers.
ETA: When I called to let them know, they said, "Yes it does stain". Why then, do they not list that on the package?
Re: Heads up: Kandoo soaps
I'll bet your sink isn't sealed. I just had marble countertops installed in my kitchen and had to apply three coats of sealer to those suckers b/c they were like sponges.
For cleaning, I suggest either Bar Keepers Friend or Softscrub w/ Bleach. They are my go-to cleaning products when I have what I call "WTF stains".
I get your anger at Pampers. They should definitely have labeled the package.
Thanks. I hope all is not lost. I've tried cleaning it and its just dull where the soap was. I think we are going to switch to Method foaming soap for her.
The step stool was only like $25 but I don't like things looking like sh*t, so its annoying. The sink came with the house, so I don't know how much it cost, but its one of those wooden and marble furniture piece sinks, so I think it was like $600. (I actually hate it and want a white pedestal sink)
