According to their website it is, but it looks HUGE and certainly fits the description of a "bag" sling. And talk about uncomfortable, my back hurts just looking at the pictures.
I saw those before I had DS and knew better. I admit I drooled over some of the fabrics. So glad I couldn't afford one.

Does not look safe at all. It looks like a bag sling. And from the looks of it, it doesn't even look like you could do a hip carry in that thing safely. Way to big, bulky and not adjustable. Are you going to email the seller and let him/her know that it's not a safe sling? If not, I will. I've done it on our Chicago craigslist before, when I saw an infantino on there. The lady was nice, and had no idea.

Hope you get a good response, and hopefully they take it down. I feel bad for them though, because they are out that money as well too. I had made the mistake before Trevor was born and bought the infantino bag. Thankfully I never used it when he was a newborn and bought a Moby instead.

I have actually tried that sling. In the correct size it didn't fit the way it is pictured. DS was in the 1 yr. range and I walked around the store with a hip carry. It actually had a great pouch for DS to sit into. However, it could be used as a bag sling and that would be very unsafe.
Ok, here's my e-mail... tell me if it sucks or if I'm missing something or should reword something:
Hello,
I was browsing Craigs List this evening and came across the ad for the sling you would like to sell. I am not sure if you are aware of the recent recall of bag style slings by the CPSC, but this type of sling, unfortunately, poses a suffocation risk for babies and is not safe. This article explains the safety issues, and if you note, the sling is shown in one of the pictures. While this brand has not been recalled, it is still an unsafe product, and should not be resold.
The email sounds really good, did you hear back from them? I see it's still listed.
Also, reading what Quazel said..if you hadn't sent it yet, maybe you could include something along the lines of..if used as a hip holder it may work, but not as a cradle position. So, if they still sell it they would need to inform the buyer as well..If that makes sense. But as the company shows it in their picture that is completely unsafe.

Um...this sling is still for sake from Serena and Lily. It has not been recalled, so I wouldn't bother this seller. My friend has the green one. The one pictured is sized way incorrectly. That's why it appears unsafe. It's not so different from a hotsling.

I can't answer about the sizing of this carrier, all I know is...how they show it in the picture is completely unsafe. It is shown as a bag sling that is being carried way to low. As I stated above in another post, anytime you are going to babywear, make sure you follow certain criteria to make sure you are wearing it correctly.
Just because a sling has not been recalled, does not mean it is safe. Was the infantino bag safe a month before it was recalled?
