Too lazy to search or Google. If you "like" someone's status, is there any way to avoid receiving e-mails every time someone posts a comment about the status? I don't want to turn it off for everything, just sometimes. Thanks.

If you ever find out let me know. I don't "like" or reply to some thing b/c I know the notifications will drive me mad.

I think you can turn off the email notifications... but then you wont get notified when someone comments on your posts..

Go to "My Account" & under notifications, you can uncheck the boxes for receiving emails about "comments after me on _____".

You can't turn it off selectively (ie if you turn it off for ''likes" you also won't get notifications for comments on your posts).  But I have noticed that FB is cleaning up those types of annoyances little by little...like for example if it is a mutual friend's birthday and 30 people write "happy birthday!" on their wall, it's all condensed under one entry now that can be expanded if you'd like to see all 30.
