Scary appt and Team:)

So my 16 week appt was this morning. During the routine us the dr thought baby a's sac was bulging and she immediately sent me down to the MFM clinic for a more in depth us (saying before we left that is I needed a cerclage she would be down to assist). I was FREAKING out!

Well, the MFMs did an hour long scan and everything was perfectly fine (cervix was measuring 3.8) and there was no bulging - it just had appeared that way on my dr's us machine.

We got to see our little babies for an hour and they did an early anatomy scan and we found out that we are having 2 GIRLS! We are so excited (we would have been excited no matter what, but it is so nice to know)!!!

On another positive note, my dr is now concerned enough about my cervix (for no apparent reason) that I get to have appointments with us every two weeks. Yay me for not having to wait so long between appts!

My MFM had me come in every 3 weeks for cervical checks until my 20 week appt. I am now every 2 weeks- if my cervix measured under 4 in the beginning he wanted me to come in every 2 weeks. So it is good that they are watching so closely.
