crying in sleep?

Anyone else's baby scream / cry in their sleep?  My 4 mo old wakes up after 45 min of napping and wants his paci back.  He will scream with his eyes closed and not moving around...after a few min I will go in and give it to him and we repeat this.  it's like he's asleep but not really.

DS does and its the saddest whiney cry!

my 4 month old has done this twice and i have no idea why he is doing it.

DS does this too, but only during naps. I've read it's because they're growing...

DS does this too, but he doesn use a paci or anything.  he just randomly cries for a few seconds.  I open the door to see if hes awake but he is still asleep.

Camryn does this too. Like PP said, I was told that it's because she's growing.
