I feel that Tyler resents Cate for the adoption. I know they made the choice together, and both agreed but I feel like he's upset she didn't stand up to him and say lets keep her.

He's trying to sabotage the relationship anyway he can at this point.

 

I was pulling for them, until he asked for her phone records and I wanted to smack the silly sh!t out of him and tell him she was sorry.

I also feel like Cate is soooooo oblivious. When Tyler finally sacks up and breaks up with her, she is going to be blindsided

He is acting like they are married already and it makes me mad on how he is treating her. I think it is some kind of abuse towards her. He needs to move on and look to the future if he wants to stay with her and stop dwelling in the past.

I am getting so tired of them! I know that they love each other, but I think it is just over between them. I think Tyler needs to just break it off with Catelynn so he can heal.

I think they were so mature for the decision they made, but now he's kind of blaming her and being very immature. I guess it's a normal part of the grieving process? I just feel bad for catelynn b/c it seems like he's so trying to find a way to drop her like a bad habit. Poor girl has to live with butch!

I'm glad I'm not the only one not in love with this couple. Every post I see talks about how awesome and mature they are for giving up their baby for adoption. It was a mature decision sure, but I don't think it makes them mature. I haven't watched last nights episode yet, but just the fact that they're going to couples counseling makes me want to scream. They're 17! Are you kidding me?! They're way to young to be that serious and they both seem pretty immature to me.

i think she's been lying to him the whole time. i bet she stills talks to her x that is why she got all defensive & teary eyes when he asked for the phone records, she's guilty of something.

I'm so over them at this point. Seriously. I feel like we're watching the same episode over and over with them. I really do get that giving up a child for adoption is super difficult, but I don't want to hear about it every single week, season after season. They need to figure their sh!t out. I think Tyler is over it, but like lots of teenagers in their first real relationship, they're too scared to let go.

Totally agree.  It seems like he is just looking for a reason to break up with her now.  Any little thing that he can think of.  Asking for her phone records?  Really?!  Come on!  I feel sad for her and if I were here, I would have blown up already.

I can't imagine it's easy to keep a relationship together with all they have going against them. BUT, that being said, they did make the decision together and he needs to 1. stop moping about it and 2. stop blaming Catelynn for it. It was a hard decision, but the right one. If he didn't want to do it, he should have said something a LONG time ago. This "passive-aggressive-sabotage-teen-angst-you-don't-know-my-life-I'm-wise-beyond-my-years-and-you-are-just-not-mature-enough-for-me" bullsh*t has got to stop. It's depressing and not entertaining TV.

I think the phone call(s) to the guy in Fl is an outlet for his anger and sadness about the adoption.  He seems to have a problem expressing his feelings and Catelynn's phone calls was a breaking point for all his pent up anger.

On the outside, yeah it wasn't a good idea to call the guy and then lie about it but Tyler is overreacting and needs to get over it.  Either forgive and move on or break up and end it for good, but this mental torture he's putting on Catelynn is going overboard.

last episode I saw she admitted to sleeping with the guy in FL and keeping in touch with him after first lying about it...also bringinging up that she just spoke to her grandma in FL..like " I may move there..."

I am suspicious of what else she may have lied about...she just seems like there is more...I got the scary feeling the babycould be the FL guys...yikes!
