DS is almost 7 months and nurses 6-7 times a day, or when I'm away he will get a bottle or two from the nanny of pumped BM. Lately it's been so hard to get him to nurse for the late morning and early afternoon feedings. He's got all this energy and he won't lean back, relax, etc. He wants to sit up and grab everything and look around, even if I'm in a quiet room at home, but when we are out in public it's nearly impossible. He will take a bottle from the nanny at those times but Im not sure if it's because he's hungry or they kind of push it on him.
My questions are- Is it too early for him to be dropping feedings or is this normal once you start solids (although we do BLW and I'm not sure how much he's actually eating)?
Is it just a phase, and if so should I pump in the afternoon if he doesn't nurse?
Will my supply take a hit if I just let him eat what he wants and then don't pump?
Should I just give up and pump and bottle feed those two feedings, even on the days I'm with him all day?
Something else that might be relevant- he still wakes at least once in the night to nurse and he completely drains me.
Thanks for any opinions/advice you might have!
