How weird is this???

I honestly thought that Emmy is a somehwhat unique name.  And Ally is not a popular name.  So what's the chance of seeing these two names together other than for my girls???  Then I ran across this website:

I don't know why it's so weird to me!

    Yeah, I agree with Britany. I know several Allys (some different spellings, including my cousin Ali) and at least 2 Emmys. I do think they are very sweet names but not unique. Still, interesting to see them together somewhere else.

    Really?  I always thought that Emmy was unique..maybe I'm not original enough!  heehee But maybe unique is not the word...but non-popular names.  Ally is not in the top 100 names for girls and Emmy is not even in the top 1000. 

    Just typed it in...did you know there is a Truitt & Mathis Appraiser??  hahaha =)

    Ok, that is too funny. The only reason I would claim that it's weird is b/c of where we got those 2 names- one is a family name and the other is a town in south Texas. Weird. LOL.

    There is another Finley in our playgroup...I thought I was being so unique and our pedi said she has had 4 new Finleys this year. 

    Emmy and Ally are pretty common, it is funny to see them together!

    I also found a blog for a boy in SanFran named "Sawyer Mathis Truitt" and left a comment. His parents probably think I am psycho! LOL

    I love both of your girls names (and they are both ADORABLE).  Of course, I am partial to Ally since I have an Alexandra (Allie).  I agree with pp that the names are pretty and may not be THE most popular, but aren't particularly unique either.  I think that maybe the names themselves aren't as popular or in the top 100 names or whatever, BUT they are used often as nicknames (Ally for Allison, Alexandra, etc and Emmy for Emily, Emma, etc).

     Seeing the names together is definitely a coincidence though :)
