Sorry Bright!

I did not mean to take over your post. :)

Re: Sorry Bright!

  • It's all good!

My mom sent some Silly Bands (z?) in a package that's supposed to arrive today. What are you supposed to do with them? Just wear them as bracelets and be amazed that they retain their shape when you put them away? DD's never seen them before.

  • ::butting in:: Yes, they are just worn as bracelets and then marveled at for keeping shape. My kids LOVE THEM!! We have probably over 100! They are pretty cute Smile
  • Those things are EVERYWHERE!  I don't get them.

THANK YOU!  I don't get them either!  And don't plan on introducing Paige to them!...lol  I figure by the time she is old enough to "get it" they will be old news!

  • I wasn't going to get them for Caleb but since he's in school already they were EVERYWHERE and he was given a couple by his friends. The teachers at his school were taking them from kids left and right because they were trading during school. Rory started liking them once she saw Caleb had some so Grandma just HAD to buy them some Wink I like the zoo animal ones!
  • Cole doesn't wear his, he plays with them.  He likes to separate them into like shapes/colors, and also plays with them in the tub.  If they get wet, they can stick to the walls in the tub if the walls are wet too.  We like to toss them and try to get them to stick.  lol.

I, on the other hand, have been wearing the two Cole gave me for a few months now.  I'm a goober.

DD will love this!! Come on, UPS!

  • Jack asked me to buy him silly bands. I was shocked he even knew what they were. Silly bands are modern day jelly bracelets of the 80s.

    Maybe that's why I like them :)
