Does the 3 day potty training really work?

I agree with this.  It worked with DS.  At exactly 1 week we were at Sea World with DS in undies for 10.5 hours.  Not a single accident and a 3 hour and 15 minute nap in the stroller.  I think DS was just ready and has a very easy going personality.

  • It worked for us for the "pee" part only.  Poop is another story.  Still working on that one although we've only been doing this for about 3 weeks now.
  • We're on day 4 and she isn't fully PTed yet (but I didn't expect it to work miraculously in 3 days). I do have to say that she's a lot better about actually letting us know when she needs to pee than even on day 2. Poop is a whole other issue and she won't poop on the toilet, but I figure one step at a time.
  • I was very impressed by this!!! I did it to a freakin' tee though!  We are 2 weeks now and all is well.  I can't say it was perfect adult like behavior after 3 days, but man he did amazing and it is an amazing jump start as long as you keep up with it.  I would highly recommend it!!!

  • We're on day three tomorrow and I don't miraculously seeing her all of sudden going on the potty.  She is much better, but we still have to watch for clues for when she needs to go.  She still won't tell us if she has to  go.  I agree, the poop is a whole other story.  It's worth a shot though.  You honestly just need to be consisted and watch what they are doing.
  • No, see my post on the regular board....I'm on Day 6, still won't go in the potty... I was very hopeful, but it didn't work for us.
