Another followup appointment.

So I went back to the doctor today for another u/s. 

I went to get my blood work twice last week and since I was technically measuring 4 weeks my hcg levels didn't double in 48 hours or weren't that high, but they did rise so she wanted me to come in today for another u/s just to make sure.

So I went in today and this time they saw a yolk sac and measuring at 5w4d...progress   Whereas last time the didn't see any of that.  Of course since I'm still only 5 weeks now, there is no fetal pole or heartbeat yet but at least there is progress and better news.

Some promising news to start my week   I will keep my fingers crossed for continued progress

Good news! I've been thinking about you and wondering how things were going for you. I'll continue to keep you and your LO in my thoughts! One more week or a little longer and there should be a HB... hopefully she'll re-u/s you so you can see it. It's a beautiful sight

Awww, thank you   I should hear back from the doctor tomorrow to see what my next steps are.  I hope it won't be until another 2-3 weeks so I can hopefully hear that h/b

that is great news! i am sure your ob told you but the # is supposed to double in 48-72 hrs (so if it didn't double in 48 hrs that is ok).... and it doesn't matter if the # is high, just that it rises appropriately.  fingers crossed for continued progress for you
