Good news - she got moved to an antepartum room! She's a bit nervous about being further away from L&D and the NICU, but happy to finally get out of L&D.
Regarding the amniotic fluid - doctors are unsure if she's had a small rupture in Baby A's water bag, or if the medicine they have her on has caused the fluid level to be low. My quick google search for Indocin (which is one of the meds they've had her on) used to stall pre-term labor reveals that one of the side effects is that it can cause a fetus's kidneys to produce abnormally low amounts of urine, resulting in a decrease in the amount of amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios). Her doctors had been talking about changing her from Indocin to Procardia all weekend, so maybe if they do and the fluid level for Baby A goes back up, we can breathe a sigh of relief that her water didn't rupture.
But, the doctors have already been treating Clayli and the babies as if her water had broken. She's been on antibiotics to keep infection away anyway, as that's the main concern. Things are still stable, if a bit confusing, and not much change to the treatment she's on.
She is still in the tredelenburg position, and no privileges except one toilet potty break a day. Her one privilege used yesterday showed her how weak she's become - DH had to support her because her legs were so wishy-washy. To be expected, of course, since she's on such strict bedrest!
Oh, and the bed up in antepartum is muuuuuch better than the L&D bed. It's still a private room, so DH has been able to stay with her pretty much constantly. Poor guy - their house is being taken care of by family (no pets to worry about though), but it's not like he can just run home for a bit. The hospital she's at is 2 hours from their home. Her DH's work has been incredibly supportive of them, and is allowing him to work from his laptop at the hospital instead of making him go into work. She just texted to tell me that they have a PS3 in the new room as well, so DH is in heaven, lol.
Three weeks ago, doctors gave Clayli a 50/50 chance of making it to 24 weeks. And that every day past 24 weeks would be a miracle. I'm praying for many more miraculous days to come!

That is such great news!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please tell her (although I'm sure you already have) that she is doing SUCH AN AMAZING job for those babies - I'm so proud of her and will continue to think about her and those babies.
Thanks again for the wonderful update!
L&D beds SUCK if you are not in labor... I was on an L&D room for a few days when i was pg with dS1 and was soooo happy when they moved me to antipartum! The beds ARE much better - so glad she was moved.
prayers that she can keep cooking a lot longer!
Great news! Thanks for sharing. She, her DH, and babies are in my T&P.
Indocin does decrease fluid. I was on it for a few days, partially because one baby had too much fluid. It reduced her fluid, but also reduced her sister's some too (oops!). Things evened out once I was switched to procardia.

I slept on a L&D bed for ONE night and that was plenty enough for me. Those beds are awful. I'm so glad she got moved.
She should be so proud of herself. She's doing an amazing job!
She is 24 weeks today
