jazzercise

I love jazzercise and have been for some time now. I feel like I really get in a great workout. Me and DH are planning to start TTC soon and I was wondering if it would still be okay while pregnant? Anyone gone while pregnant and if so did you have to make any modifications during your workout?

  • I did jazzercise until about 33-34 weeks pregnant and then i had too much ligament pain so i had to stop and just power walk..I did not do too much ab stuff when i started getting a belly....It kept me inshape and made me feel good to go!  i just started going again at 7 weeks pp.

  • i did Jazzercise when pg with ds. I had to be careful not to let my heart rate get about 145 and after 16 weeks I couldn't do any abs or exercises on my back. I also had to switch to low impact due to risk of injury.
  • I am a Jazzercise Instuctor and did teach until I was 32 weeks and the only reason I stopped was beacuse of Placenta Previa. I mostly did low impact but did have to show high impact. I did keep all my ST part standing -it was easier to do my ab routing that way. Remeber your instructor can always show you alternative- there are always alternative in jazzercise. Big Smile We hadone of our instuctor that did jazzercise all the way- her water broke during class Surprise. Always check with your doctor first.
