Update:  It's a girl!  The shopping has already begun.  Little Scarlett (that's what I like to call her even though there's no agreement yet) already has quite a wardrobe thanks to my mother's recent shopping sprees at Janie and Jack and Gymboree.  Otherwise, just holding steady and enjoying the sporadic bubbles and taps in my belly.

QOTW:  We know which bedroom we want to use and have the bedding and colors picked out.  DH said he would prefer if the nursery wasn't pink pink PINK so we're going with lilac, silver/gray.  Her furniture is all set too.  We'll use the dressers that were my grandfather's when he was a child.  We need to purchase the crib and my parents will buy the glidder.  I can't wait to get started, but we we're going to wait until the weather cools a bit before we paint.

Update - not much new here.  I have my 16 w appt. on Wednesday.  I'm having a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen and what feels like someone pushing on my bladder.  Its sorta uncomfortable.  I want to talk to the Dr. about that since its worrisome. 

I've had a lot of lower back pain too but I think its due to sleeping.  I'm trying not to sleep on my belly and stay on my side but its hard.  I ordered a Snoogle and waiting for its delivery. 

 

QOTD:  we know what room we are going to use and have referred to it as the nursery since we built this house.  After our 20 week appt. we will get busy setting it up and ordering furniture.  We think our parents will offer to get us a piece or two but haven't heard yet.  We know we want to do dark furniture but thats as far as we've gotten.

Update:  Excited for my appointment on Wednesday! I am anxious for my first fFN test and my internal to make sure cervix is still long and closed.

Feeling movements 24/7 with these crazy boys! So different from my DD.

QOTD:  We have ordered cribs, bedding, glider, and wall letters : )  Cleaned out the nursery for them this weekend and we are so excited for the stuff to get here!

We need to pick out fabric for the curtains, a rug, dresser/changing table, and miscellaneous nursery stuff : )  So much fun!

QOTD: I haven't started any planning yet. I feel like such a slacker! I'll probably start planning early september when it cools down a bit and I can actually go to the stores!

Update:  Not much to update.  I'm anxiously awaiting movement.  I've felt a few flutters but nothing that was definitely babies. 

QOTD:  I'm waiting a few more weeks before I start nursery planning.  I have some ideas but nothing in particular.

QOTD: DH officially emptied out the whole room and repainted. We agreed that we want to keep everything pretty simple and classic. No character, themes, etc but we do want soft neutral colors with dark furniture. We will be getting 2 convertible cribs, dresser, a tall 5 drawer dresser and bookshelf. We have visited many local baby stores and agreed on a set. Now we just wait a while before ordering but regardless of boy(s) and/or girl(s), the set will work nicely.

Update:  1 hour glucose, growth u/s, and tour of L&D & NICU tomorrow morning.

QOTD: Our nursery is done.  I don't know when I am going on bed rest so we wanted to get it done.  It's such a relief.

Update:  It's a boy!!!!!!!  So glad everything looks good, and I hope the boys will be close friends growing up.  DS1 has a very sweet personality, so I don't think he'll be one to feel a rivalry.  Hopefully DS2 will be similar in that way.

QOTD:  I now have NO CLUE on nursery planning.  He will use DS1's nursery furniture (we're getting big boy stuff for DS1), but that would have been the case for a girl, too.  I have looked at bedding, but I hadn't found anything I liked for a boy.  It all seems either too similar to what DS1 has (only not as good) or the type of styles I dismissed when I was looking the first time.  I think instead of looking at bedding, I'm going to have to look at artwork or color schemes to get some ideas and go from there. 

I know some people reuse nurseries for their subsequent kiddos, and I don't judge them for that at all, but it doesn't work for me.  I feel like I did that nursery specifically for DS1, and I need to do something special for DS2, too.  Now I just need to figure out something I like just as much!

No updates in regards to the baby really, although I did get a crazy rash going on on my belly, back, and the middle of my shoulder blades. If I was further along I would have said it was Pupps. But Benedryl and hydra cortisone were my friends for 4 days and the itch/bumps are gone now. :-)

QOTD: We are doing purple and sage colored room. We are actually buying the furniture this weekend and saving some $$ with the tax free weekend in Massachusetts. We are going with dark furniture.

Update: Just had Dr appt yesterday.  Everything looks great and a few day ahead of sch.

QOTD: I just got the furniture in the nursery yesterday and have set a pink an brown modern theme.  Waiting until after I go to Minneapolis in a few weeks to start decorating!

Update: It's a boy! : ) For some reason it feels more real now!

QOTD: I think we are still going to keep the nursery pretty neutral but I haven't really decided what I want to do with it yet.

Update: Anatomy scan is on Thursday. Squee! So excited eventhough we're not finding out the sexes.

Hey ladies! I'm actually in the 3rd tri now, so I'll be checking in on the 3rd tri thread from now on. Doing well - passed my glucose tolerance test &have my last monthly appt. on Fri. After that, appts. every 2 weeks!! Hope all of you are doing excellent!

QOTW: My nursery is actually nearly done, lol. I love D&R - in fact that was my original home board, so I got on the ball pretty early. I have pics & lots of updates (with more to come) in my WOD blog - link in siggy.
