Anyone notice a growth spurt at 2 and 1/2?

DD has been tired lately, like really tired.  She just got over some kind of bug, and although we had guests this weekend, she hasn't been herself lately.  She's tired and sluggish and sleeping a lot.  She also isn't really hungry.  She never ate before, but she's eating less and sleeping more. 

DD has always been small (21 lbs at 2 years) and she's had all the testing done by a pediatric GI who just decided DD is just small. 

Anyone know of a growth spurt at 2 1/2 years?  Anyone go through something like this with their little one?

DS seems to be going through a growth spurt right now. He's been tired earlier than usual and he's eaten an abnormal amount of food the past few days.

dd did.  she also was 21lb and 32" at age 2y.  when she went for a 2 1/2 yr physical prior (she was 2yr 7m) to preschool starting, she was a whopping 25lb and 35 1/2"!   she didn't gain much else prior to turning 3 ....  she was 26lb and 36" at 3.

Oh man, I hope DS doesn't gain that much in his growth spurt! He's already 35lbs.!
