I went to pick up one of Ava's books last night and it was stuck to the hardwood floor. I pulled it up but some of the paper was left behind. I think it may have laid in a wet spot. How do you get this off? I tried goo be gone and a razor blade but it didn't work. Any other suggestions?
Re: Help w/ paper stuck to hardwood
i am no martha stewart, so i have no idea, but...
what if you put a little more water on it and let it sit for a few minutes?
or wonder if it could come up like wax...if you put a towel on it and iron it, maybe the heat will help?

Whatever you do, don't put an iron on your hardwood floor! Even through a towel or piece of fabric, you stand the chance of ruining your floor.
Just putting a little water on it to soften it up should work. Or let some Murphy's Oil Soap sit on it. Should take care of it in a jiffy.
I think I will try water or murphy's oil. Those were my thoughts too.
