I'm going out of town Monday - Thursday for a work conference 3.5 hours away.

 If the Clomid works like it did last month, I'm scheduled to O on Tuesday. (I think it will, I have tons of EWCM today). Dh & I have had NO sex due to the UTI/YI combo I had. 

So, originally our plan was sex on Monday morning before I leave and hope for the best. 

Now, I'm considering driving 3.5 hours home Monday night to have sex again Tuesday morning (and then drive 3.5 hours back to the conference on Tuesday AM).

WWYD? When I type it out it sounds crazy, but sh*t. I don't know what to do.

Can DH meet you halfway?  Nothin' says Boom-chica like a little random meetup in a sleezy hotel. . .

 

(Not that a sleezy hotel is REQUIRED, I'm just sayin'.)

You are not crazy at all.  I have done similar things.

Have you considered this...meet half way.  How sexy would that be.

ORRRR have DH call out sick to work and have him meet you at the conference for the night.

Side vent...I am so sick and tired of us ladies being the ones trying to coordinate everything, jump through rings of fire to conceive.  DHs' have it good don't they!

We thought about that, but we really don't want to spend the money when I could just drive the extra 1.5 hours.

I would drive home. If M's flight had been cancelled last Fri., we were both going to drive 4 hours and meet in the middle.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, I don't think it is insane at all.

Yeah, it is probably crazy but we would do the same! Could y'all meet somewhere in the middle?

DH is probably going to be traveling for work when we start TTC again so we plan on me flying or driving to where he is when necessary!

Nope, not crazy at all.  DH is a truck driver, so we'll be going through similar things soon.  I'd really consider going to priceline.com though and bidding for a cheap room half way though.

You are not crazy at all.  When I was ttc I was almost sent about 3 hours away during O time too and was planning to drive back down just for sex.  My trip got cancelled but I totally would have done it.

I don't think it's crazy, but I also know my husband would not like things to be so clinical and perfunctory (yeah, after 18 months of this crap he still hates timed sex. Fabulous).
