New parents of twins coming in October! We are super excited and starting to stock up on stuff like diapers and baby wipes. We shop at Costco almost every weekend so we thought we would get our diapers and baby wipes there.
Our question is: Are the Kirkland Brand Diapers Size 1-2 small enough for our newborn twins? Or, do we need to get the "newborn" size of another brand (since there is no NB size for the Kirkland brand) to last a few weeks/months? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks so much!
Re: Are Kirkland Size 1-2 Diapers the same size as NB size of other brands?
I would pick up a couple boxes of the newborn diapers. I liked the swaddlers for my boys when they were first born. We went through quite a few newborn diapers even though my boys were 6lb13oz and 7lb12oz at birth. Both lost about 7-9 ounces the first week.
I thought the Kirkland 1-2s fit well on a baby between 8 and 12lbs. They definitely do not fit a baby that is 15 lbs though. The nice thing about Costco though is that if you buy too many of the 1-2's you can return them, even without a receipt. I had 1 extra box and we got a cash refund.
I also love their wipes! They're nice and thick, don't smell and are great for throwing in the diaper bag!
