Help! I'm trapped!

Trapped in the house with 4 kids. Stupid rain. I never would have agreed to have a sleepover with two 4yo twins if I knew it was going to rain. (Is it even raining anywhere else? I swear it looks like the dark cloud is JUST over my neighborhood)

I was planning to wear them out with a trip to the park and playing in the sprinkler... so now what?

How do you wear out 3 high energy preschoolers on a rainy day?

    I would have, but there was some big booming thunder to go along with it.

    Fortunately it didn't last too long and after dinner we took them to the park and let them play even though it was wet. Stopped for ice cream, had bathtime and now they're in bed.

    Unfortunately, they are still awake, giggling, whispering and singing in bed. And it's almost 10:30. Did I mention that E seems to be physically incapable of sleeping until 7am no matter what her bedtime is? Ugh.
