I am new to the bump but was a member of the knot.  Yesterday was our fifth anniversary and it looks like we are going to get to adopt the child that we have been fostering.  So, a baby shower would look a lot different for us as she is already nineteen months old.  I expect that one shower we will actually register for toys, furniture and more supplies.  However, for the other shower, I would love to do a college registry.  Has anyone heard of one?

    Funny that you should write this because I literally just created a cash gift Baby's College Fund on MyRegistry.com last night.  I am due in November, and I have a gift list on MyRegistry.com, but also used their cash gift service to create a cash gift fund so that my friends and family can have the option of contributing towards Baby Dowd's College Fund :)  Their cash gift funds are very cute and it was simple to set up.
