Hey there! We used to use wool soakers over fitteds at night. Once you've got the lanolizing routine down, it's really not too bad. I probably had to wash/lanolize every 2-3 weeks. It takes about five minutes of active time, and then I let it dry overnight. The extra effort is really worth the leak protection IMO. I knit my own so can't recommend brands, but someone over at EFF probably can. Honestly, any handknit soaker knit of a reasonably thick wool (look for "worsted," "aran," or "heavyweight" in the description) is going to do the job so you could probably go on Etsy and look for cute ones.
We used to use a BSRB fitted with a Sustainable Babyish wool soaker. It worked really well. Now, I just use a Fuzzibunz or Blueberry dipe with no problems. We stopped using the fitteds because DD thrashes around like a crocodile on a nature show when I am trying to diaper her. So- not really able to use fitteds right now. That snappi doesn't stand a chance! FWIW, lanolizing the wool was no big deal at all.
Re: Wool...Please tell me your opinions. :)

That depends. How much of a pain do you think it is.
I like it. I haven't used it a ton, but every time I've used wool I've had no problems.
It is not a pain at all! Where did you hear that?
It could be ideal for you if you have a heavy wetter.
