It's very unpredictable in December, unfortunately. The default weather for Florida at that time of year is upper 60s, mid 70s. If fronts drop down from up north, they will definitely hit the panhandle first. So, depending on how severe winter is for everyone else, you could be having freezing temps at night and 50s during the day. The best thing to do is buy a little fleecy or sweatshirty jacket and a carrier blanket, and that way if you need it, you'll be set. January is typically the coldest month.
