Random Let-down?

Does anyone else experience milk let-down at totally random times? It happens to me probably 5-7 times a day. Just now I was reading an email - here comes the milk. Last night I was making a girlled cheese sandwich, this afternoon I was ordering new checks at the bank.

Oddly enough I never feel the pins and needles of let down while I'm nursing. Maybe the other sensations mask it?

Anyhow, just wondering if this happens to anyone else.

Yep, all the time. I only sometimes feel it when I'm actually nursing.

When H was really little I did- now I only get it while nursing.  Thank goodness for breast pads!

I used to get them about 2 hours after the last time she ate. Now I only get them rarely.

It's 2 hours after she last ate for me too! About half the time she'll wake up to eat within minutes of the let down. Other times she stays asleep.

At that age yes. It will go away once your body regulates its milk supply. Annoying though isn't it? And it hurts!
