What exactly does every 2 days mean?

I know this is a weird question but does it mean every other day?

Like on a Mon. and Wed.? or does it mean you wash on a Mon. then go 2 days without washing and wash on Thursday?

To me it means every other day.  We wash every three days, generally.  So, we'd wash Monday and then again on Thursday.

How do  you do that? I find that I have way too many diapers to wash if I wait for the third day. Do you split up your load? Occasionally, we will wait 'til the third day and do two loads of diapers but that takes for.ev.er. Not sure what we'll do when we return to work in two weeks...

Well, we have a 2 year old, not a 3 month old.  They do go a bit longer in diapers as they get older.  You don't have to deal with the "they just pooped in it, and I just got it on" thing.  We also use a fair number of pfs and have a larger washer than most.

I wash when the pail is full, which usually is every other day. I also have to make decisions to wash a slightly less than full pail if I think MIL will be hogging  the washer within the next 24 hours.

It would mean Mon-wed-Friday then Sun-Tues-Thurs-Sat the next week. We wash every 3 days so Mon-thurs-Sun-Wed-Sat-Tues and so on

and we have a large front loader, a full load fills up the line outside completely. Like today I had 6 prefolds left when I washed them and no pockets.

Ha ha - this is a good question because I never know what someone means when they say it.  I always say "every other day" or "every third day" (and I wash every other day).
