Wet Ones wipes o.k. for babies?

Just wondering if Wet Ones wipes are o.k. or not for babies.  The package says "under age 2 ask a Dr."  Anyone checked with their Dr. about this?  Thanks!

  • They're fine to use to wipe their hands before meals or after playing in a public place. Obviously, not meant to replace real hand washing, but they're fine for babies for occasional use.

  • I wouldn't use those on my LO.  They aren't meant for babies, and they probably have lots of chemicals in them.  I'd use regular baby wipes instead.

  • will regular wipes get their hands clean though?
  • Just FYI, the "green package" ones say "Safe for baby" on the package.  I use them on DS when we eat out for face/hand wiping after he's done making a mess.
