My vacation? Oh, it gets better.

We have no water because a pipe in the rental house burst earlier. Water was pouring everywhere and we managed to get the water shut off but the landlord hasn't been able to get in touch with a plumber.

In the meantime we can't shower, flush the toilet, wash hands, wash dishes, nothing. My 71 year old aunt just took a car load of people into town to find a public restroom because they all have to sh!t. 

And yes, we have a tent. We've thought about leaving but haven't yet because (1) we're having MAJOR car troubles and it's either been 90+ degrees or thunderstorming since we've been here.

Wow. I hope it gets better from here. It sounds like everyone is pretty miserable though. I'd see if anyone wanted to chip in for a few hotel rooms. Anything would be better than staying there!

OMG, I'd tell you to burn rubber and get out of there, but I don't think you can burn rubber when your car tops out at 55mph. 

Its cooling off here in MI, so hopefully the cooler temps will reach you tomorrow and you can use the tent.  Just thinking about your living conditions right now almost gives me a panic attack!

If I remember correctly I think you are vacationing only a few hours from me. Make it an adventure to another country and come stay with us! I am having a panic attack imagining myself on the vacation you're on, I sincerely mean it when I say cross the border! Visit lovely Ontario, Canada! I have loads of room for all of you!

I'm so irritated that we have to have them just to go to freakin' Canada! I miss just having to show ID/birth certificates.

OMG.  That sounds horrific.  I am so sorry for you and hope you make it through.

I also have to add, God bless your aunt.  I would not want to be driving around a car full of people who need to sh*t.  I feel sorry for anyone with the misfortune to be at where ever that Buick from hell ends up.

Oh my God.  I read your other post and cringed but now I'm speechless.  I would be rocking and sobbing in the corner AND drinking heavily.
