Boulevard has more padded inserts, if I remember correctly. it also has true side impact protection. It comes around the side more then the marathon, sorry I know that's kinda hard to understand without a photo. They are both great seats, I LOVE our Marathons, albeebaby.com has great prices on both.
Our Journey from two to three!
3 IUI's, 2 IVF's, decided to move to foster/adopt.
12/24/2009 Baby C born, 2/1/2010 placed with us,
5/17/2011 Adoption final- we are finally a forever family!
The Boulevard does have true side impact protection and more padding than the Marathon. We have Boulevards in my car and hubby's car. We bought Marathon's for both grandma's cars. I think they are both great seats. You can find great prices on both of them right now!
we went with the Boulevard and love it! DD uses the head wings for naps and can still see out the window. We love it. We got a great deal on a discontinued pattern from Allbebaby and the best part is that I love the pattern
And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
The Boulevard has knobs you turn to adjust the straps and headrest. IMO, this is much easier since you don't have to take the seat out of the car to adjust the straps as your child grows.
We've used the Boulevard with DS since he was about 7 months old and now that he is 26 months it is still in great shape and he has plenty of room still.
