Roseola?

So DD had a crazy high fever that wouldn't break Sun-Tues. Took her in and dr. said her throat looked red but to just give Tylenol...

Wed. she finally broke the fever but then had a funky red rash on one side of her face...today it is like she is a red-spotted Dalmation puppy w/ the rash having spread from her head down to her diaper

So back to Dr. and this time they said it was "Roseola" and that other DD was bound to get it too. 

Anyone elses LOs have Roseola? How long did the rash last for? And how long was it before other LO got it?

DS had it when he was about 7 (8? maybe) months old.  His rash lasted about 4 days I think.  DD got it a few days later but hers was a much milder case.  Her fever was very very low and she had a mild rash that only lasted a day or two.

DS had it this past fall and his rash lasted about 3.5 days.  DD got it this spring and her rash was milder and lasted only about 2 days.

They got it back to back. Rash lasted 5 days. The rash did not seem to bother them,  just the fever.
