Disney forums? Princess dinners-which one?

Hi, planning a trip to Disney for January-what are the good forums to go on to research it? Do you know if the Cinderella royal table or epcot Princess one is better? The disney reservation lady said there are various princesses at the both meals..Thanks!

I love using this site.  I use the disneyland area but they have been lots of help and have me plan our whole trip for May.

  • I've always been partial to the Princess Breakfast at the castle (Royal Table). Its a nice way to start the day off magically at the Magic Kingdom!
  • Cinderella's Royal Table was kind of cool, but IMO not really worth it. Muffin loved it. DH and I preferred Norway in Epcot. It felt less rushed and he liked the food better. Within 2 hours of arriving at Epcot, we had seen almost all the princesses because Mulan was in China and Snow White was in Germany.
  • disboards.com is great for planning. We went 2 times in the past 10 months. Do you have to go in January? We went in January and it was soo cold we wore our winter jackets, turtle necks, gloves, scarfs and hats daily. We went on Jan 6th and while it was awesome to still see everything decorated for Christmas by the time we left a week later it was all down. We both swore we would never go in Jan again.

The pic in my siggy is from 1900 Park Fare (prince charming, drizella, cinderella, step sisters, etc) buffet. Our favorite is the castle princess after we have Giada made up at Biddity Boddity Boutique as a princess then we book dinner or lunch so that she is all decked out to get her pic with each princess. It is amazing and I highly recommend it. They also have the boys to be made up like pirates. If you have any questions let me know.

  • Thanks, everyone!
  • We went to the one at Norway, and while the price was better and the princesses all came to our table quickly. The food was horrible I mean my Mother and i ate nothing!
  • We had lunch at the Royal Table and we thought the food was good and at lunch time all of the princesses come table to table for photos and to sign your autograph book.    You also get a photo session with Cinderella and they develop that picture and put it in a paper frame for you to take home(included in price).  They also get a star wand and boys get a sword to take with them.

Another great site is allears.net ( https://allears.net/index.html ) you can look at the menus for all the restaurants and character lunches/dinners.

  • Just wanted to add that we decided to rent a condo after researching Disney through the disboards.  It was a great decision.  We ended up with a 3 bed 2 bath condo which cost (for the week) somewhere around $500.  Really close to Disney, great pool and playgrounds.  I was nervous to do it, but it turned out great.
