Any one pt with a child in a leg brace?

DS was just put into a leg brace from foot to hip on the left side, we are doing really good with pt and I don't want to give up and go back to diapers so I am looking for any advice I can get! He can't hold it long enough for me to take the brace off and i'm not sure how to let him pee with it on.
