Doctor appointment follow up.

I'm finally back and feel a little bit more hopeful.

They did an ultrasound on me and it looks like I'm measuring 4 weeks now rather than 6 weeks like I originally thought.  Because of that, there is no fetus yet or fetal pole so I need to give it a few more weeks before my next u/s.

The doctor did an exam and says my cervix is closed which is a good thing and since I'm just spotting brown she is not too concerned right now.  They took some bloodwork and I need to go back in a few days to get more done to see if my levels rise.  If they do, it's a good thing.

It seems my doctor isn't too worried so I feel a bit more at ease than I did yesterday.  I will wait to see what happens in the next few weeks before I get too excited  

Thank you ladies for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers.  It's so appreciated and makes me feel so much better knowing I have you ladies to "talk" to    Thank you again and I will update you soon as I get more word on my progress.

oh good!!!  If you're only 4 weeks, then it's even more likely it's implantation spotting - hopefully baby (okay, fertilized egg) is burrowing deep in there to stick! 

what a relief.  will continue to send positive thoughts - and I expect to see those levels rise!

Maybe that also explains your lack of symptoms because you are SO early still, which is a good thing. I did betas and as long as your levels double, you should be good to go... then another u/s after you are at least 6-8 weeks so you can see the little heartbeat. Like the ladies said, the spotting could just mean babes is digging a nice cozy spot in there

On a side note, I've checked on here a couple of times to see your update. Glad to see you posted and things are good. Keeping you in my thoughts!

Yay! I'm glad the appt went well today I also had spotting when I got pg and it was just implantation spotting, so it ended up being nothing to worry about at all. Continued sticky vibes your way and keep us posted!

Glad to hear the appt went well!  My doctor told me that as long as I wasn't having bright red bleeding with cramping, not to worry too much.  I also remember having cramping and twinges down there.  There's a lot happening with all your lady parts right now!  Sending tons of sticky dust your way....
