My babies STTN!!!!

Yay!  They ate a bottle at 9pm, and were fast asleep by 10pm.  I put them down and they slept until 5am.  DH got up, since it was only a half hour before his alarm went off and fed them.  He got them back down (on his own - Yay DH) and they slept until 8:30am!  It felt so good to get a good night's sleep.  Probably the first since I got pg.  Hopefully we're on track to making this a regular occurrence.

If your lo's are STTN, how long did it take until they were doing it consistently?

Re: My babies STTN!!!!

  • WOOOHOO! That's awesome. My son was a terrible sleeper for the first year so I'm jealous. Now he is a champ. Hopefully, I will do some things differently with the girls and not get into the same bad habits. A full night's rest is amazing for your outlook on life!

I think every child is different, so hopefully you'll be blessed with good sleepers.  Our girls are definitely a little different from one another, but they're doing pretty good staying on relatively the same schedule.  I got the book 'Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Twins' by Marc Weinbluth.  It really helped, and I'd recommend checking it out.

  • Congrats!!!!

girls were doing some sporatic STTN stuff around 11 weeks...the night before they turned 3 months old they STTN from 6:30pm - 6 am...and have STTN ever since with a brief sleep battle around 10-11 months...

  • Thats awesome!!!  I know I will be hoping and praying my twins STTN as soon as possible...lol
  • My girls have a very similar sleep pattern.  We feed them at 9, they are asleep by 10 (sometimes takes until 10:15 or so), and they sleep until 5 or 5:30.  They've been doing this for 2 weeks.  After the 5ish feed, they go back down an hour later and usually sleep for another 3-4 hours.
