Pediatrics Help

Does anyone know of a good Pediatrics Doctor within the Kelsey Seybold Clinics? Any suggestions period. I have no clue? Should the Pediatrics Doctor be at the birth? Any advice please.

A pediatrician will examine your baby after birth.  If your pediatrician has privileges at the hospital you deliver at, most likely he/she will be the one to examine your baby.  But, if your pediatrician does not have privileges at that hospital, your baby will be examined by the "on call" pediatrician. This is what happened with us.  We picked a pediatrician near our house and our house is not near the hospital I delivered at, so our daughter was seen by the on call pediatrician.  Everything was fine, and we took her to see her pediatrician at 2 weeks.

also depends on where you deliver. We use Dr. Byrd at the Sugar Land Kelsey, we delivered at St Lukes in Sugar Land. Hes pretty awesome.

They asked us when I was in labor if we had chosen one yet, we hadnt so they just kinda gave him to us

Not sure what side of town your on but we love Dr. Johnson at Kelsey Seybold in Kingwood.  She is also at the Woodlands location as well.
