They're growing....but slowly....

Had my follicle check this morning.  I have two dominate follices (on my right side...woohoo).  They had grown to 10-11mm.  So this cycle still looks to be a go, but just really, really slow.  They were 8mm Monday.

I have another u/s on Friday.  OB is hoping that we can target the IUI towards early next week.  I hope so too....I'm just sure that I'll O over the weekend with my luck!

Oh yeah, you see your OB wayyyy too often when he "recognizes" your follicies.  "Ok, here's the one that was the biggest last time".  Seriously....you see people all day and you remember which one of mine was the largest?!?

sounds great - did they adjust meds at all? or just waiting for growth?

Keeping fingers crossed that you have an awesome u/s on Friday and get to trigger before you O.  I am sure the OB will not let you O first...seems like a great doc!

No they don't...and that's why I'm freaking out about timing on this.  When I asked my OB about timing today....he seemed to think come in Fri for another u/s and I would probably hold out till early next week for the IUI. 

 Doing the math, he does the trigger when they get to 18.  They're 10-11 today....so 13-14 Friday, 16-17 Sunday......so Monday would be ok for the trigger (which would be good cause they could give me the shot cause I'm not sure I can!)  Then Tuesday IUI. 

Now, if the math just works out to reality?  I think last time, once mine got to 12, they had a major growth spurt.  Then again, just because he triggers at 18, doesn't mean that's when they'd release on their own.  Isn't it like 20-22?  Yes, I drive myself nuts!

I just hope he's right.
