LO has a rash. It's most intense on his face and head, but seems to be in spots all over. I'm not sure if it's heat rash or if it's an allergy. We tried tofu for the first time yesterday. He was only in the heat (although it was really hot and humid) for about 30 minutes.
He also seems to be rubbing at his eyes a lot.
Re: Benadryl for a Rash?
I would have to make an appointment. Drs here don't do phone consults
That sucks, my doctor always calls me back or has a nurse do it.
Like the other said, call the doc. DS had a rash a few months ago. We still don't know what caused it - it wasn't supposed to be contagious, but several kids in his class had it and some friends kids got it. He didn't itch, but they did tell us to do 1/2 t of benadryl.
I would not have done that without their blessing.
Yeah, it sucks, but give and take, right? We have a great healthcare system, so this is one of those little annoyances. We do have free helplines to talk to RNs, but since my nurse already told me how much Benadryl to give should he need it, I'm not worried.
