Detroit Babies

A good place to meet

Hi Ladies! I have a quick question..I am in a mothers group and my turn to play hostess is coming up, however, our condo barley accommadates the three of us...do you know of any good places that would big enough to handle 8 mom's and their babies..and that's free?  any info would be great.

Re: A good place to meet

  • what area are you in?  what is the range in age of the babies?

  • Loading the player...
  • Have you heard of Jungle Java? I went there with a friend with our 3 & 6 months olds and it was free, but i'm not sure it is for older kids.  There is a coffee/food bar there too which is nice for the mom's.

  • hahaha...i went back and read my post again...i meant to say barely..instead I typed barley...which my baby still loves to eat. sorry...and I forgot key info:  I live in the Rochester Hills area...but the other mom's are from all around metro detroit. And there are about 8 mom's and their babies, ranging from 7 months to almost one yr olds. So if anyone is still reading this post...again any ideas would be great! Thanks

  • Urban Toddler outside Ann Arbor is great!!!  They have a little infant circle and a ton of play stuff for older kids!!
  • There a place called Kiddle Klub in Rochester Hills on Crooks. It's like Jungle Java. We drive all the way from Milford to go there. It's one of my favorite indoor play places, and there's a great area for babies--in addition to the play structure for toddlers (including a dress up area and play kitchen).
