Does anyone know of any local steakhouses that allow you to bring your own (unopened) bottle of wine? I've worked at restaurants in the past that allowed this (they just charged a corking fee), but I'm coming up short here in the 'Nati. I bought my husband an expensive bottle of wine for his birthday (it's a kind that's hard to come by - pretty much never featured on restaurants' wine lists), and I'd like to surprise him with it when we go out to eat. For the record, I've tried Jeff Ruby's, Eddie Merlot's, Jag's, and Morton's, and none of them allow it. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I also dont know of any steakhouses but I know of some small, more low key places that let you BYOB like
Buona Vita Pizzeria in Bellevue,KY (yummo!!)
and I've heard that Ruthai's Thai Kitchen in Hyde Park does also but Ive never been there...you could check out these places and see if any of them would work:
