So yeah, school questions lol

Ok she's in.  We find out dress code, provide shots records, etc etc. 

I want to take her for a little tour/show her the classroom first so she has some idea before she goes in.

Other than that, any ideas of prep (for us/paperwork wise, for her, anything?)

I'm taking the first day off in case she flips out.

    There's an Elmo DVD called "Elmo Goes to School" that is really good and addresses kids' fears of the first day of school. It's pretty funny too.

    Take a couple of pics of her in the classroom when you visit, Gracie loved looking at those before her first day.

    You'll need her birth certificate and possibly proof of residence stuff (if it is linked to the public schools).  We had to have our pedi fill out a green health form. 

    Consider picking up a book about the first day of school, the bookstores all seem to have tables full of them right now.

    We've provided all the paperwork, just need to bring in her birth certificate tomorrow & that's done.  We have Mama Llama whatever that book is, we'll go look at elmo (much as it'll pain me LOL).  Shop a bit once we find out dress codes/shoes etc.

    Good to know abt the pede, I'll have to ask tomorrow.
