DS is apparently stressed about starting Kindergarten

DS seems to be really excited about Kindergarten. He is checking out all the backpacks to decide which one he wants, and made of list of the snacks he wants to take.

Last night he had a nightmare. He told me he and his Dad were going to Kindergarten and there was a wolf hiding under the table where he was supposed to sit. But he and his new Kindergarten friends chased it away. Interestingly, the school mascot is a wolf and there's a big wolf (not scary) right inside the front door.

I feel bad for him -- he's obviously anxious about Kindergarten, and I don't know what to say or do to make him feel better. Although I am pretty impressed he was able to chase off the wolf.

Aww, what a scary dream. My DS is pretty anxious too, he still says he is not going and I try to get him to be excited by looking at the packpacks(like you) and looking for school supplies..
