Does the state publish a name census like the SSA does? I'm curious b/c DS's name isn't that common when you look at the national ranking but we come across SO many Miles in Portland. Not that it matters but I've always wondered how many there are out there

I don't know of an Oregon list, but you can access state lists (although I don't think they are complete - only the top 100 or something) on the SSA website. Babynameworld.com has a name mapper that will tell you how common a name is by state using SSA's data (although again, i think only if it is top 100).
