We have them and I loved the concept and LO seemed to do well with the bottle but I felt they wasted a ton of milk. There is a double nipple and it seemed LO was never able to get the last of his milk out of the bottle. So we switch to Tommee Tippee bottles.

We are using them. My DD seems to like them. Because of the double nipple area, you do loose a little milk at the end but because I produce so much I haven't worried about it. We started with Tommee Tippee but even the slow flow was a little fast for her at the time. Our lactation consultant suggested the Breastflow because of the similarity to the letdown on the breast and the wide mouth and nipple area which should help with trying to switch between breastfeeding and bottle feeding.
They are the only bottles dd would take. Like pp said, you do lose a little milk at the end, which is annoying, but I produce enough to make up for it.

We, too, had a lot of difficulty getting DS to take a bottle. We finally got the Breast Flow ones and he (begrudingly) took to them. I couldn't find them in stores and had to order them from Amazon, but since then I've seen them at Target. We hope to use them again someday with LO #2.

You don't have to waste milk! If you press lightly on the outer nipple, the milk will flow back down into the bottle.
I EBF but when baby was a week old he wasn't getting enough and I had to supplement with BM in a bottle for a few weeks until he got the hang of how to latch. Anyway the LC recommended the breastflow bottles as I was so afraid he would prefer the bottle and give up on nursing (didn't happen, thank goodness). It took a week or so but he got the hang of the bottle (but def. still prefered the breast). I like the bottles because it does mimic the breast and letdown.
You don't have to waste milk, like one of the previous posters said, if you squeeze the side of the nipple lightly, the milk will flow back down into the bottle. Then you flip it upside down again and baby can get the milk out...no wasted milk!!!
Re: Breastflow bottles
I had a heck f a time getting LO to take a bottle we tried almost every bottle on the market but she finally loved the nuby.
I saw and just bought those yesterday and she hated it. I may try again though because I like the idea.
