What's a good newborn CD amount?

Hey guys! We just gave birth 2 days ago to our 3rd baby, our 3rd precious little girl.  Anyways, this is the first baby that we have cloth diapered from the beginning.  A group at our shower got us some of the newborn gdiapers and we are using the cloth inserts.  We got the newborn pack that has 6 small gdiapers, and 12 newborn gdiapers.

 They are working okay.  We are pleased, but I really would like to know what else to purchase.

We have about 2 dozen prefolds from our last daughter. But, we started a little later and used BumGenius and hardly used the prefolds.

 Any advice on what we might need?  I'm pretty knowledgeable on CDing a 18 month old, but a tiny baby is throwing me for a loop.

OH and just to give a background.  We mostly use BumGenius for our 18 month old, but we have used other brands.  And our LO is little chunky for a newborn. 8lbs. 2oz. and she has little rolls

We had 25-30 prefolds (can't remember the exact number) and 6 xs thirsties covers that got us through the first 2ish months. Even though DD hit the minimum weight for our OS pockets, her legs weren't chubby enough to get a good fit until 2 1/2 months or so. 

We planned for 12 diapers a day, washing every 2-3 days. So 12 newborn gdiapers and 2 dozen PFs would have been more than plenty for us.

fitteds or prefolds and covers. Many girls here like the Kissaluv's or B4 fitteds. I haven't cd'd a newborn yet but I hear that the BG's won't fit for a while like maybe 12 lbs-ish? So you will probably have to try prefolds and/or fitteds for a bit.

We had 6 covers, 24 prefolds, 2 Thirsties Fab Fitted x-small, and 7 Kissaluv Size 0. It was perfect for every other day washing.

I think 30 diapers is a good amount if you wash every other day.  We used prefolds exclusively for the first three months, and I think that's a good way to go.  This time around we're going to add some newborn fitteds to the mix as I hear they contain poop a little bit better.

We use all BG 3.0 OS and the organics, but for the itty bitty newborn stage I loooove the Thirsties XS AIO.  They fit both our boys until they were about six weeks old and then they could fit into the BGs.  They're not made anymore so you might be able to score some on clearance.  I got a lot on clearance and found some secondhand on DS.

We have 24 Thirsties and I was doing laundry every other day.  HTH!

ETA: Camden was also 8lbs2oz at birth, has very chunky thighs and like I said these fit him until he was about 6 weeks.  He fits into the BGs perfectly now.
