I really like surnames as first names.  So far we like Leighton, Harlow, Cade, Beckham...

    I like the idea of rock n roll surnames - Osbourne, Jett, Bowie, Jagger, Hudson. I love names with an edge. We'd never actually use these though.

    Briggs, Britton, Hendrix (nms, but just a suggestion), Landry, Beckett, Adair, Brady, Cassidy, Cullen, Clancy, Donovan, Fallon, Kennedy, Reagan, Larkin, Murphy, Sullivan, Vaughan. 

    I could add more but those are all I can think of off the top of my head.  

    ETA: I'm a dork and didn't realize your DD is Kennedy. Good choice, though Stick out tongue

    My neighbor named her son Vallon which I thought was different and it is growing on me!

    I saw in there the suggestion for Jones. That is my maiden name and my SIL always says that we should name our boy (if we have one) Jones. However, I have another name in mind ;-)
