Share your relaxation music!

I need to buy/download some music to practice relaxation and also to use during labor at home and in the hospital. Can anyone recommend what they have used or are planning to use? Thanks!

Re: Share your relaxation music!

  • I'm just using a bunch of songs that I really like and that give me visual imagery or that I love the lyrics too. I'm hoping (but you never know) that focusing on the lyrics or the visual imagery will help me focus on something else and relax into it.

  • I really love Tibetan Bells and Ocean Waves.
  • DH is a musician so I told him to make me a soundtrack for labor.  He's talented at quite a broad spectrum of music so there's everything from Classical to Hip Hop Instrumentals on there.  The only consistency in them is that they all have some repetitive instrument because it gives me something to focus on and helps me to relax.  I don't know what I'll be in the mood for and I wanted to have a lot of options.
