Ovulation ? (maybe TMI)

So I thought I was monitoring my Cervical Mucus pretty closely...DH & I have been trying casually- We've done the deed everyday I thought I was ovulating...but I'm not monitoring temps or anything...Well like 4 days after I believe I was ovulating this cycle when I went to the bathroom I had ...like a mucus plug (best way I can describe it)...It was brown/pinkish..but it was big, thick & sticky. Has anyone else had this? I was thinking maybe AF was coming early, but now I'm on day 36 and no AF...Thoughts?

    I had that two cycles ago when I thought I was PG.  I was on cycle day 31 (typically 28 day).  I even had my OBGYN appointment then and she said she saw the 'brownish' stuff when I was getting my pap.  She told me there could still be a chance I was PG, but I may not have had high enough HCG levels.  I ended up getting my period 2 days later. 

    You never know though, maybe it was implantation bleeding? You could have O'ed late and just now be implanting. 

    This may sound funny, but since we started trying 2 out of my last 3 cycles have been different than usual.
