I have a huge bag od shredded mozz from Costco that I need to use. I am taking dinner to a friend who just had a baby this week so I thought that would be a good time to use it up since I'll double the recipe for my family too. Any ideas? Preferably some type of casserole or something that will transport easily and still be good when I get it to her.
It looks really yummy and super simple! Is this basically how you make it? I hate making something for the first time when I'm cooking for someone else, so I just want to make sure it's going to turn out like it supposed to. Thanks!!!
Re: Need a recipe that uses shredded mozzarella cheese
Perfect! Love it! I've never had it or made it before, so I googled a recipe for it and found this:

you could do just a pasta/marinara/italian sausage baked ziti kind of thing
or I bet you could do some white chicken enchiladas with the mozerella.
Recipe:
1 can cream of chicken
1 can green chiles
1 pint sour cream
Mix this together
brown chunks of chicken breast (or shredded would work). Saute 1/2 onion.
Add 1/2 of the sauce to the chicken.
Fill flour tortillas with the chicken mixture and cheese.
pour remaining sauce over the tortillas, top with cheese.
Bake until hot and bubbly
